Signed Hoagy Carmichael Contract - August 10, 1939

Contract between Hoagy Carmichael and the American Record Corporation concerning rights to the recordings of the songs "Two Sleepy People", "Hong Kong Blues", "Riverboat Shuffle" and "New Orleans". Signed by both Carmichael and ARC President Edward Wallerstein. Carbon copy originally dated October 28th, 1939 on both pages, but Carmichael has crossed out the date on the first page and written August 10, 1939, in pen and initialled the change. Very good condition with holes punched to the top of the pages, and two small areas of loss as if the document had been torn from a binder. D101
